Collegiate-Level Experience on an International Stage
In the summer of 2024, the FIREHAWKS traveled to Gothenburg, Sweden, to compete in the Gothia Cup, one of the world’s most prestigious and competitive youth soccer tournaments.
Our team went undefeated in group play, finishing tied for first place in their bracket. They advanced to the Champions Finals, where they battled an elite Swedish team in a tightly contested match. The performance showcased our players’ technical skill, tactical awareness, and competitive mindset at the highest level of international youth competition.
Beyond the pitch, our athletes gained invaluable life experience, traveling through Sweden, Norway, and Denmark—embracing different cultures, growing as teammates, and demonstrating maturity and adaptability far beyond their years.
